What is the Right Diamond Size?

Everyone wants to know what size of diamond they should buy

So are you looking for just the right diamond size? What is the right size? It is all up to you. Personally for me the weight is just a number. I buy diamonds on how they look on the hand. I choose the color over clarity because clarity can change if you damage or chip the gem - the color will always stay the same.

Diamond sizes are listed below this handy picture from Gem Gossip one of my favorite jewelry bloggers.

Smallest to largest (bottom to top): 0.50 carat, VS-2 clarity (bottom), F color; 1.00 carat, VS-2 clarity, G color; 2.01 carat, SI-1 clarity, F color; 3.01 carat, SI-2 clarity, G color; 4.02 carat, SI-2 clarity, G color; 5.59 carat, VS-1 clarity, G color (top)
