Jewelry for film & Costumes
Jewelry is often the last item that goes onto the costume.
Our jewelry projects were complex designs that took hours to design, develop and create. These Hollywood jewels were important to the actor and completed the costumes. The following projects for The Collection of Motion Picture Costume Design and were on exhibit at the Hollywood Costume, Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles and at Walt Disney World.
The original brooch was a 152 carat Star Sapphire and diamond creation from the private collection of Carole Lombard.
Our recreated brooch was hand fabricated, cast in bronze, rhodium plated and set with custom glass and cubic zirconia.
Original Victorian pendant was worn by Ingrid Bergman in the film classic “Gaslight”
Our recreated pendant was fabricated from sheets brass and accented with cast bronze stylized leaves and plated in 18 kt yellow and rose gold.
The original pendant was worn by Greta Garbo in the film classic “Queen Christina”
Our recreated pendant was hand fabricated from nickel silver, with cast bronze stylized carvings, plated in rhodium finish and set with cubic zirconia and garnets.
The original star brooch was made with diamonds and a large cabochon emerald worn by Susan Hayward. It is believed by our team that this brooch was from her personal jewelry collection. Ms Hayward wore her brooch in the film classic “Valley of the Dolls”
Our recreated brooch was hand carved in wax and cast in bronze, then plated with rhodium finish and set with cubic zirconia and vintage green glass cabochon.
